A Few Things..

I really appreciate the visitors so far. I've caught up on most everyone for now and it seems that spirits are light and I'm grateful. I think it might be appropriate at this point to express my concerns about comment etiquette. I'm sure this topic will expand to cover most situations so please consider this the first installment.

If you disagree with something I've said and you are certain you have a valid reason for your argument then I must insist you use the following phrase to preface your arguments toward me..."Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!!!". In this way I will know you love me enough show me my error and that after "much disputing" we will be encouraged. It is my intent, at present, to move any such comment to the front page and further to create an index of the same for the benefit of posterity.

And now there is something nagging at me so I'll share it here and hope it's received as intended.
Those that look here know I'm a Baptist by membership and by doctrine in many ways. I do have, however, many members of my family and many friends who are Catholic and my heart goes out to you all. I can only imagine the grief you must bare now and while our beliefs differ in many ways our feelings at a time of loss are the same and so I wish you all my deepest condolences.

Thank you for the condolences. I read a post by someone on MSNBC's "Pope Page" right after he died where the poster said something like "I am a spiritual orphan."

Even though I tend to fall on the liberal end of the theological scale (though less than I used to), I really admire Pope John Paul II for everything he did.

So, on behalf of all Catholic, thanks again for your condolences.

Blessings & Peace,
Hugo

You're most welcome my friend. Hugo I think admiration is the perfect expression for my sentiments as well.
