"good tidings of great joy"

"For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist." (2Jn 1:7 NASB)

"For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin." (Heb 4:15 NASB)

"By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;" (1Jn 4:2 NASB)

Morning KC,

If all would recognize and accept Gods perfect will for our lives that He so graciously prepared for us we would probably have 99 9/10ths% of our troubles already solved ?

I have been blessed with an abundance of " good tidings of great joy " !

Blessings.
Ron.

It is interesting that you posted this yesterday, KC.

The 12/25 reading of Oswald Chambers' 'My Utmost for His Highest' spoke of how Christ was not born "of" this world, but "into" this world.

Sometimes I forget the implications of that.

Grandpaw Ron Amen! God is so good! May God bless you brother.

Jeff I know there's a great deal of conflict surrounding the traditions of Christmas but I hope no one will allow that to cause them to have less esteem for this amazing event and its importance. Many blessings to you and yours!

Amen Susan! Many blessings to you and yours.

Sarah it's so good to see you out and about! May God richly bless you dear little sister.
