Christmas Giving

I received the most wonderful present today and what's more I can share it with you all.

Dear Casey, Corry and Amber,

In light of the many tragedies along the Gulf Coast, the Lord has led me to contribute money instead of buying presents. In your honor, money will be given to the Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Organization of the North American Mission Board, SBC.

May God bless you and yours this holiday season.

It's exactly what I wanted for Christmas! ;-)

It is so much better to give than to receive.

I a lot of us probably spend too much on presents, and not enough on the Lord's work or those in need.

God Bless

Matthew

I think it's important that we "do good to one another, and especially to those of the household of faith". This lady is a dear friend of our family and knew we would be very grateful for this. ;-)

Just to shore up support, this is an excellent fund.

The IMB has one also and I just learned about it. It helps with world hunger, AIDS, and diaster relief (internationally).

it's a heart warming experience to be blessed by being a blessing to others especially those who are truly in need.
