A few more things

Prayer

We’ve added a mailing list to the prayer site and encourage everyone who is willing to join in prayer with those who make request on this site. We’ve also received many request via E-mail and, with permission, we post those there as well.

Praise

I have another reason to look forward to Sunday because of Joe’s Jottings and his Sunday Praise series. He usually has it posted by in the evening but if you miss it on Sunday it can certainly help you to start the workweek in a good frame of mind. Joe has many other offerings there and he will be the first to tell you that each one is flawless! ;-)

Encouragement

Two more Blogs I want to draw your attention to:

Kristi’s Korner is becoming a very popular place to go with a varied venue of everything from poetry to theology.

jowiki has some very insightful commentary and encouragement on blogging and other current issues from a believers perspective. Josh also happens to be the better looking brother to the webs’ resident SOFYST. ;~}

Where Sin Aboundeth

“Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” Romans 5:20 (KJV)

I love this verse, not only for the singular message of hope it conveys, but also because of the context in which it was given. This verse literally applies to the difference between life and death. Verse 21 completes the thought:

“That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Praise God, grace reigns over sin and death to eternal life through the righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord!

I just caught that you said Josh was the better looking one!!! ha ha ha! When Josh and I were in school together, he always complained that he was ugly. I think it was just a way of digging for compliments!!
