Grateful

Many of you have shared in my sorrow and I’d like you to share in my joy as well. This is our eldest daughter, who, as of today, is the same age as I am! She finally caught up with me with her twenty-sixth birthday.

She has become one of my all-time best friends and is often a champion for my cause. Of all the wonderful things I might say, the best I think is that, praise God, she’s a child of the King!
There’s a party in her honor here tonight and you’re all invited. ;-)

Kc, I have been praying for you a lot the past couple days. I can't even imagine all the emotions you must be experiencing!

And Happy Birthday to your daughter!! So how many years have you been 26 now??? =) Thanks for the invite... I may have to put that off until May though, when I'm down in Pensacola!

KC, I'm happy for you and I share in your joy. I know exactly how you feel knowing your daughter is a child of the KING. Jody is my best friend as well and knowing he is a christian makes my heart just bubble over. say happy birthday to her for me, would you? I would love to share your celebration in her honor, but under the circumstances I'm a little bit up the road a few miles. just know that my prayers are with you all. may God bless .

Your daughter look sooo gorgeous! She must have great genes hey.
Blessings to you and your eldest daughter.

I'll have you know you have doubly confused me.

First the whole 'sorrow' word got me thinking that something bad has happened to your daughter.

Then, the whole twenty-six thing got me confused as well.

You know I cannot handle such confusion. Please clarify.

Kristi yea!!!!!! Thanks so much for the prayers but yea!!!!!! Let's start planning now. Corry is thrilled. What'll it be? How long do we get you? An evening? A weekend? A Week? (hehe) yea!!!!!!

Zina it's so good to hear from you. I think about you all often and I'm so anxious to hear about the wedding, the planning, but I know, one thing at a time. Maybe you all can get up with Kristi and head this way in May too! Happy Christmas to you all and we're praying for a wonderful ceremony and celebration!

Kitty it's never too early to start planning so put a trip to the states on your calendar soon! Thanks for the kind words and we’ll have a slice of cake in your honor. ;-)

Adam there’s no need for confusion. We can sort all this out as soon as you get here. You can come over the holidays and again in May while Kristi is down. No excuses! ;-)

Kc! Calm down! Goodness...it's still 6 months away! But, glad to know you and Corry are so excited!

I'm not sure about any details yet. I'll be down probably the first week in May. When I find out the exact dates, then we can do some planning! =)

Actually, I have arranged a special dispensation by which we are all showing up at about 7:30 tonight.

(Come to think of it, should the Lord return tonight at, say, 6:30, we'll really do so! What a blast!)

Kristi if you wanted me calm you should have kept that secret! hehe

Corry, exactly!

Matthew it would be really great if you could be here too. ;-)

Joe I knew I could count on you, and BTW I trust you on this too. (hehe) Corry and I were discussing (His return/our rapture) again today. You want to talk about a party! Not only would we be together but we'd be perfect too! I better not get started on that now.

Ken thanks so much! She's a reader so I know she appreciates the sentiment.

Seeker we've both got so much to be thankful for. It's such a blessing to hear how well your son is doing. God is so good. ;-)

I would love to come over, but by looks of your front door in the picture, I'm sure my phobia of crowds in small rooms would cause a panic attack!!!!!

She looks like a fun girl. I can't imagine my children being that grown up, but it will probably happen. I hope we will be friends just like you and yours. Have a great *warm* (tkkk!) time. (it is freezing up here)

Kris, that’s only one of our many vacation homes (grin). Don’t worry about a thing just make your way south. Can you really go through life not knowing how to bunny dance? Hmmm? ;-)

Rose, from what you’ve shared about your family I’m confident you’ll have that friendship that I know is only possible in Christ. I’ll try to send some warm weather your way but it’s 30 here this morning so it may be this afternoon or later. ;-)

Jayne could you?! Would you?! That would be so great!!! I’ll even hide Corry’s real-life comment moderation device (duct tape) and you can be a walking calorie counter. (hehe) I wouldn’t be too worried about those few moments past 26 either. I tell myself a thousand years is as a day, so when you divide by one thousand it’s only a fraction in time. (grin).

Pia, you’ve been here for quite sometime. We keep you in our hearts but you know our door is always open to you! Thank you dear little sister. ;-)

Ron, friend??? I suppose as twins we should be friends but you’re one of my dearest brothers! ;-) Many blessings to you and yours as well and thank you again for so many wonderful devotions.

Jeff I know it's true. Age is so much more subjective than numerical. For instance, to me, I'm 26 but to Corry I often appear to be 12, 14 or 17. (hehe) Many blessings to you brother. ;-)
