The Slow Down

Is anyone else feeling the slow down in Bloggersvile? I’ve noticed several bloggers have posted that they’ve decided to blog less and some have taken a break. Others here, myself included, seem to have writers block. It’s not that there’s nothing that I want to post on. I‘ve got several articles I’d like to get out including the definitions. It’s more like being withdrawn. Oh well, I’m sure this is only temporary. Who knows, maybe even this post will break the dry spell. ;-)

I think blogging has become the new fad...so there will be a tendancy for peaks and valleys in the frequency of postings.

Also, I think that many posts create a cause and effect scenario where the writer stirs the reader to respond creating sometimes contentious dialogue.

And yes of course, to post continuously requires time for meditation in the Word. But with approx. 50 million blogsites, there should be something interesting to read out there somewhere?

Blessings,
Jim

That does seem to be the case. Maybe its just this time of year.

Since having internet in my bedroom, I am actually posting more often. I have even expanded to a third blog. It occurred to me that if Antonio can devote a whoel blog to his favorite subject and controversy, I sure could.

Every Blessing in Christ

Matthew

I think yesterday was a day that we all drew the blank. Very weird. Anyways, I think my spell was broken with a very late night of coffee. I posted in a very unconventional form for me, but we'll see how it goes. I think you'll snap out of it soon.

Hi kc. I've noticed that too. I think it is catching, the lull, that is. Now I am going to go write a post.

"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven- ...A time to be silent and a time to speak..."

Yep, jim, "peaks and valleys"; that's a good way to describe it.
Or how about the bloggers version of the "7-minute lull" that occurs in conversations?

Kc,

I am truly amazed at how you can inspire others! Look at the responses you got from this one post! And, look at the dialogue you got from the last post! I can say only that I thank God for you!

KC,
I think the way to say it... well, the best way to put it... what was it I was going to put... wait...

OK, one more time... what I'm trying to say when I sit here and type away... is that... it could be that the words are words but... no, that's not coming out right. Let me try again... well, maybe I shouldn't... :)

I think I have started about four blogs in the last week, and none of them have been worthy of posting... probably a good thing not to post them, so I know what you mean.
Blessings

Hey Casey,
There is a time to be silent,a time to step away from blogging for family and other things that are more important.

I want to thank you for your prayers and for caring.

Okay, I am going to be selfish first, and sweet second...

I feel like a lost little girl out on her own for the first time with no wise parents around to turn to for direction.

Okay, now with that out of the way...How are you two doing? Do you both have the horrible cold now? both have pneumonia? I'm so sorry. Hope you get to feeling better really soon.

(Back to selfish mode) I need you guys! Take care of yourselves.

Love ya!

For many this has been a very busy time of year.

I, for one, have slipped a bit in my blogging as other things have been a priority.

But fear not! I think blogging is here to stay and if people don't post as often, well, there are still many blogs yet to discover and read.

Good post!

Must be because of the new part of the year. People are exercising more and reading their bible more.

actually I don't know
