I simply can't believe my own theology!

Well if this doesn't prove I'm off the wall nothing will. Did I do this wrong??? I hope to recover from the shock soon and I'll be back to take this quiz again.

You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 79%
Emergent/Postmodern 71%
Classical Liberal 68%
Neo orthodox 46%
Reformed Evangelical 39%
Fundamentalist 39%
Modern Liberal 36%
Charismatic/Pentecostal 32%
Roman Catholic 11%

What's your theological worldview?

But Matt where is it headed??? ;-)

I have formed a theory about the Pomo score. First determine which orthodox theology you most closely agree with then determine what percentage of your answers dissent with that theology. :-o

An aversion?! Oh my! Maybe it's the people I work with. :)

And the answer to how my post is so beautiful, is...cut and paste! I don't worry with that ol' HML stuff. :)

Corry my dear wife I think you have undue influence on my religious beliefs.

Julie when I read your question I had a flashback and could just see Jimmy Hendrix singing “are you experienced”. It was kewl. But seriously no, I’ve belonged to a Missionary Baptist congregation since my conversion and they’re not Holiness. I think it was the Spirit related questions that we likely tend to agree on that brought my score up there. I haven’t seen anyone get pure Wesleyan yet and I suspect the author of the quiz tied them together. I would like to know if someone does though. ;-)

Pech if you like you can email me your html and I'll tweak it and send it back. Lady R I think your are a little more settled than I am and I envy that. My highest score was only 79%, which I attribute to being either noncommittal, stupid (Julie I am genuinely afraid to take that IQ challenge) or both. Both Pech and my own high Pomo numbers surprise me. Me thinks I’ve a bone to pick with Matt and Gabe. I’m going to spend more time on Hugo’s blog and try and get my RC score back up.

Kris my understanding is that those terms are used to provide theologians a means for classification by which they can label you, lump you together with a group and proclaim you ignorant (hehe you know I love you guys!). Seriously maybe one of our resident theologian bloggers could give us a “real” definition for these classifications. I read your results and thought, “that’s the way I thought I’d score”, in other words, you think the way I think I think (grin). I too felt the need to explain my “liberal” rankings (while I love liberals and conservatives alike), as I perceive myself more of a libertarian. And now to take you to task my friend; how are things in Okie land? Perhaps a timely post on your blog is due? ;-)
